Hoffmann · Eitle receives "Firm of the Year 2008" award from MANAGING IP

In the Managing IP's Global Awards Dinner 2008, held on 9 April 2008 in London, Hoffmann · Eitle was awarded the title "Firm of the Year 2008" in recognition of its achievements in prosecuting intellectual property rights in Germany.

The Global Awards are made based on extensive research conducted among IP owners and professionals over the past six months. Managing IP's team of researchers in London, New York and Hong Kong contacted some 2,000 people in every major jurisdiction starting in September 2007. As part of the research, Managing IP sought nominations for firms that had an outstanding year in their practice or jurisdiction, as well as for the most important cases of the year. Based on these nominations, Managing IP drew up shortlists from which one winner was chosen in each category.

Hoffmann · Eitle was the winner in the category "Germany - Prosecution" and is appraised by Managing IP as follows:

"Top-rated for both patent and trade mark filing work, Hoffmann · Eitle is one of the biggest filers at the EPO and the German Patent Office.
