Undergraduate degree in Chemistry (B.Sc. DIS) awarded by Loughborough University in 2005. Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry awarded by the University of Nottingham in 2009 for a thesis titled “Nitroalkenes as Latent Nucleophiles for the Nitro-Mannich Reaction.” Author of several research articles in the field of organic chemistry.
