Career
Studied electrical engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremburg with emphasis on IT, control engineering and theoretical electrical engineering, graduating in 1988. Doctoral thesis in the field of algorithms for the design of VLSI electronic circuits as part of an industrial project (in 1993). Research conducted at the University of California at Berkeley, USA (1990 – 1991). Active in the field of patents since 1993. With Hoffmann · Eitle since 1994. German Patent Attorney since 1997 and European Patent Attorney since 1999. Master of Laws in European IP Law in 2008.
