Hoffmann Eitle - München, London

Directions to the Munich Office

Our Munich office is in the "BayWa" building just next door to the new Westin Hotel Munich (formerly the ArabellaSheraton Grand Hotel) in what is called the Arabellapark section of town. The address is Arabellastrasse 4, and we are easy to reach either by private car, taxi or public transportation.

From Munich Airport

You can either take a taxi from the airport to our office (this will take about 30 to 40 minutes) or you can take the "S8" suburban line. All you need to do is follow the signs for the S-Bahn in the airport (a white S in a green circle) to the train and be sure to take the S8 and not the S1. You should best exit the train at the Johanneskirchen stop where you will find either taxis or the 184 Bus. The taxi ride will be only about ten minutes. If you take the bus, exit at the bus stop Arabellapark where there is a bus terminal. You can then walk to the BayWa building, which is only about 150 yards along the Englschalkinger Strasse to the next side street, where you need to take a short left into the Arabellastrasse. You can't miss the "BayWa" building which can be seen from the bus terminal. Watch out for the green BayWa sign at the top of the building.

From the Main Train Station ("Hauptbahnhof")

Hoffmann · Eitle can be easily reached from the railway station. All you need to do is take the underground "U4" to the last station "Arabellapark". Exit at the end of the train, following the directions marked "Busbahnhof, Umweltministerium" (bus terminal). You can then walk to the BayWa building, which is only about 150 yards along the Englschalkinger Strasse to the next side street, where you need to take a short left into the Arabellastrasse. You can't miss the "BayWa" building which is visible from the bus terminal. Watch out for the green BayWa sign at the top of the building.

Driving to Hoffmann · Eitle on the A8 from Stuttgart

Take the A99 in the direction of Salzburg when you get to the motorway intersection number 79. This is called "Autobahnkreuz Eschenried". Continue down the A99 to the intersection "Autobahnkreuz München Nord" (Exit 13), where you must take the A9 for Munich. Leave the motorway at the "München - Frankfurter Ring" exit (Exit 75), and follow the signs for "Föhringer Ring". Continue east/south on this road, passing two sets of traffic lights, for exactly 6 km, until you get to Effnerplatz (where you will hit the third light). You will already be able to see the "BayWa" building at your left. Take a left here into the Englschalkinger Strasse and then turn right after only about 50 yards into the Arabellastrasse. Take the first driveway to the right after only about 30 yards to the Visitors' Parking Lot ("Besucherparkplatz").

From Nuremberg on the A9

Leave the motorway at the "München - Frankfurter Ring" exit (Exit 75), and follow the signs for "Föhringer Ring". Continue east/south on this road, passing two sets of traffic lights, for exactly 6 km, until you get to Effnerplatz (where you will hit the third light). You will already be able to see the "BayWa" building at your left. Take a left here into the Englschalkinger Strasse and then turn almost immediately right after only about 50 yards into the Arabellastrasse. Take the first driveway to the right after only about 30 yards to the Visitors' Parking Lot ("Besucherparkplatz").

From Lindau on the A96 or Garmisch-Partenkirchen (A95)

At the end of either motorway, turn left onto what is called the "Mittlerer Ring" and head north (this ring road circumvents the city). If you are coming from Garmisch (A95), you must get in the right lane after 7 km and at approximately 7.6 km take a right following the signs to Nürnberg/Salzburg. If you are coming from the Lindau Autobahn (A96) this turn off will be at approximately 5.9 km. You will see the Olympic Park to your right. After taking this right, you will still be on the "Mittlerer Ring". Follow this for another 2 km when you will enter into the Petuel Tunnel. Stay in the left lane until you leave the tunnel. After another 5 km you will cross the Isar river on the Kennedy bridge. Get into the right lane here and do not enter the next tunnel, but follow the road up the hill to the next light. There you will see the Westin Hotel in front of you and the BayWa building just to its left. Stay in the left lane, going to the left around the circular. Then take the right lane and exit after about 50 yards into the Englschalkinger Strasse. Turn almost immediately right after only about 50 yards into the Arabellastrasse. Take the first driveway to the right after only about 30 yards to the Visitors' Parking Lot ("Besucherparkplatz").

From Salzburg on the A8

At the end of the A8, you will reach Exit 91 "München-Ramersdorf". Stay in the two right lanes, turning right onto the Mittlerer Ring (this road circumvents the city). You will first come to a short tunnel called the Innsbrucker-Ring-Tunnel, and after this you will enter into a section of road construction (until approximately 2009/2010) and a further, longer tunnel called the Leuchtenberg-Tunnel. The road construction will continue until the next tunnel which you are not to enter. Keep to the right here until you reach the light at Effnerplatz. You will see the BayWa building and the Westin Hotel to your right. At the light, take a right, and then again another right after about 50 yards into the Englschalkinger Strasse. Take the first driveway to the right after only about 30 yards to the Visitors' Parking Lot ("Besucherparkplatz").
