Specialised in patent, trademark and unfair competition litigation, both national and cross-border; international and domestic licensing and contract negotiations, with particular emphasis on patent, trademark and research and development matters; drafting commercial arrangements in relation to the development, implementation and licensing of computer hard- and software; advising in all matters relating to anticounterfeiting and product piracy, in particular coordinating EU-wide border seizure proceedings; advising on and undertaking retrieval of domain names.

Career:
Study of law at the Free University of Berlin with an emphasis on business law and intellectual property law. Training, inter alia, at the Federal Cartel Office of Germany, Cartel Senate of the Berlin Court of Appeal and at the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Sydney. Assistant to the professor of civil law, civil procedural law and employment law at the Technical University of Berlin from 1990 to 1995. Postgraduate Diploma in EU Competition Law from King?s College London (1996). Attorney-at-law since 1993. With Hoffmann ยท Eitle since 1994.
