Specialisation:
Application, examination, opposition and appeal procedures in the field of mechanics before the German and European Patent Offices as well as litigation before the Federal Patent Court and the civil courts. Particular experience in the field of telecommunication hardware, automotive parts and construction. Further emphasis on application procedures for designs.

Publications:
Numerous papers on the significance of industrial property rights, marketing possibilities of industrial property rights, an overview of procedures before the courts, the German and European Patent Offices and publications on further subjects in a number of technical magazines.

Professional Memberships:
German Patent Attorney Bar Association, EPI.

Career:
Studied mechanical engineering with emphasis on general mechanical engineering and specializing in production engineering, graduating with a Master’s in 1995. Has been with Hoffmann · Eitle since 1995, became both a German patent attorney and a European patent attorney in 1999.

Personal:
Enjoys tennis, golf and skiing and has a special interest in literature and architecture.
