Career:
Studied biology at the University of Bonn; from 1985 to 1988 study of microbiology, genetic engineering, and biochemistry at the University Marburg; diploma degree in 1989. Ph.D. degree in 1991 from the University of Marburg, Institute for Medicinal Microbiology, within the framework of a cooperation project of the German Ministry of Research and Technology between the University of Marburg, the German Collection of Microorganisms, and the German Federal Health Authority. Patent experience since 1992; German Patentanwalt since 1996, European Patent Attorney since 1997. With Hoffmann ยท Eitle since 2001.
Personal:
Four children. Leisure interests include playing the piano, languages and travelling.
