Dissertation in the field of zeolite chemistry and catalysis at the University of Frankfurt/Main (1997). Erasmus Scholarship at the University of Padua (1994); Scholarship of the German Research Association (DFG) for postdoctoral research at the University of California, Santa Barbara in the field of biomineralisation (1997-1999). Publications in Nature and Angewandte Chemie. With Hoffmann ยท Eitle since 1999. German and European Patentanwalt since 2004.
