Dissertation written at the Max-Planck-Institute for Neurobiology in the fields of the genetics and immunology of neuromuscular illnesses in 1998. Postdoctoral work at the Pasteur Institute, Paris, in the field of genetics and immunology of viral illnesses of the central nervous system from 1998 to 2000. With Hoffmann · Eitle since 2001.
