Career:
Studied electrical engineering at RWTH Aachen University specializing in the fields of communications technology and circuit design from 1993 to 1998. Participated in a research project including diploma thesis aiming at improved design flow for digital signal processing systems from 1995 to 1998. Participated as doctoral student in developing a VDSL communication system in collaboration with Infineon Technologies from 1998 to 2002. Preparation of Ph.D. thesis in the field of equalization and synchronization for xDSL systems and head of Digital Communications group at the Institute for Integrated Systems at Munich University of Technology from 2000 to 2004. With Hoffmann ยท Eitle since 2004.
Personal:
Interests include long distance running, skiing, automobile technology, architecture.
