Career:
Studied chemistry at the University of Duisburg. Graduated in 1995 on microwave-assisted digestion of samples in analytical chemistry. Ph.D. in 2000 for a dissertation on ligands for enantioselective transition metal catalysis, funded by a scholarship of the federal state North Rhine-Westphalia. Postdoctoral studies at the Centre for Scientific Research (CID) of the National Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) in Barcelona, Spain. Patent experience since 2002. German Patentanwalt since 2006. With Hoffmann ยท Eitle since 2006.
