Directions to get to the Munich OfficeGetting to H · E from Munich Airport Take the "S8" suburban line and get off at Daglfing. From there it's just a ten minute taxi ride to H · E. Or take a taxi straight from the airport. It's a thirty to forty minute ride. Reaching H · E from Munich's main railway station ("Hauptbahnhof") Take the underground "U4" out to Arabellapark, the last stop on the line. Exit with the escalator to "Busbahnhof, Umweltmin." (bus terminal). It's roughly 150 metres to H · E, walking along the Englschalkingerstraße to the next crossing, and then turning left into the Arabellastrasse. You can't miss the "BayWa" block, which is visible from the bus terminal; watch out for the green BayWa sign at the top of the building. Driving to H · E on the A8 from Stuttgart Take the A99 for Salzburg when you get to motorway intersection number 79, the "Autobahnkreuz Eschenried". Continue down the A99 to the intersection "Autobahnkreuz München Nord", where you take the A9 for Munich. You must leave the motorway at the "M-Frankfurter-Ring" exit and follow the signs for "Föhringer-Ring". Continue on this road, passing two sets of traffic lights, for exactly 6 km, until you get to Effnerplatz. You will already be able to see the "BayWa" block on your left. Turn left at Effnerplatz and get into the left-hand lane again to do a U-turn. At the next traffic lights, turn right into the Englschalkingerstrasse and then turn right into the Arabellastrasse. You'll get to our Visitors' Carpark ("Besucherparkplatz") through the first entrance on the right-hand side of the street. Travelling on the A9 from Nürnberg to H · E: Travelling towards Munich, you must leave the motorway at the "M-Frankfurter-Ring" exit and follow the signs for "Föhringer-Ring". Approaching H · E from Lindau or Garmisch At the end of the motorway, exit onto the "Mittlerer Ring (Süd)" - southbound on the circular. Continue along the Mittlerer Ring to the part which is called the "Tegernseer Landstraße", getting into the Mittlerer Ring lane. Avoid the lane for the Salzburg motorway! Follow the Mittlerer Ring until you reach Effnerplatz. At this point you will be able to see the Arabella-Sheraton as well as the "BayWa" block on your right. Now turn right (signposted Nürnberg), then right again (signposted Englschalking) into the Englschalkingerstrasse, and finally right again into the Arabellastrasse. You'll find the entrance to our Visitors' Carpark ("Besucherparkplatz") first right. Coming to H · E from Salzburg on the A8 At the motorway intersection "M-Brunnthal", turn onto the A99 following the signs for Nürnberg and Munich airport. At the next intersection, "München-Ost", take the A94 for Munich city. There is a speed limit of 60 kph at the end of the motorway. Now turn off right into the Weltenburgerstrasse. Continue until the second traffic lights, and then turn left into the Denningerstrasse. Turn right into the Arabellastrasse, and you'll find the entrance to our Visitor's Carpark ("Besucherparkplatz") first right. · back |
