The renowned Russian IP law firm Gorodissky & Partners host's the 5th IP Annual Seminar "Obtaining and Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights in Russia" is designed for patent and trademark attorneys and agents, IP lawyers and counsels and will allow participants to delve into the Russian IP legislation and to compare it with the practices of other countries from East and West.

Further to the speakers from Russia, there will be guest speakers from China, Japan, the U.S.A. and Germany, including Dr. Bernd Hansen from Hoffmann · Eitle.

AIPPI World Congress: "How Does Inventive Step Compare With Obviousness After KSR?"

Hoffmann · Eitle partner Roy Marsh to speak at the AIPPI 41st World Congress and, subsequently, before the Boston Patent Law Association (BPLA).

The 41 World Congress of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) will be held in Boston from September 6 to 11, 2008. Roy Marsh, British and European Patent Attorney and partner at Hoffmann · Eitle, together with colleagues from Korea and the United States, will discuss "The Obviousness Test in the United States and the Inventive Step Requirement for Patent Procurement Around the World" at a breakfast roundtable.

He will subsequently hold a lecture on the same topic before the Boston Patent Law Association (BPLA) on September 8, 2008.
