Provisional Injunctions Should Now Be Easier and Quicker to Obtain at Upcoming Trade Fairs in Hanover
The Regional Court of Braunschweig has announced that it is this year initiating a stand-by service to hear provisional injunction cases during important trade fairs in Hanover.
This Court is the only court with jurisdiction in the state of Lower Saxony for patent, utility model, design and trademark infringement cases. It is well aware from past experience that its services are in great demand at these times. For this reason, it has decided to extend its hours during the trade fairs
- HANNOVER MESSE (Hanover Trade Fair) from 21 to 25 April 2008 - IAA Commercial Vehicles from 25 September to 2 October 2008 and - EuroBLECH, International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition from 21 to 25 October 2008
and will therefore be available to hear cases at the following times:
Monday to Thursday: 6.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. Friday: 6.30 a.m. to 12.00 a.m.
During the Hanover Trade Fair, the Court will even be open for business at 6 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2008.
In urgent cases during these trade fairs, the Court has also agreed to hold hearings on the exhibition grounds. This can be arranged in advance by telephone with the Presiding Judge of the Patent Dispute Chamber.
The legal department of the Deutsche Messe AG Hanover responsible for trade fairs will also be lending its support.
