Stand-by Duty of the Patent Dispute Board of the Regional Court Braunschweig for Trade Fairs in Hanover

The Patent Dispute Board of the Regional Court of Braunschweig has announced that also in 2012 it will be offering a stand-by service to hear provisional injunction cases during important trade fairs in Hanover. This Court is the only court with jurisdiction in the state of Lower Saxony for patent, utility model, design and trademark infringement cases. It is well aware from past experience that its services are in great demand at these times.

For these reasons, the Patent Dispute Board of the Regional Court Braunschweig will extend its service hours inter alia during the following trade fairs:

- CeBIT 2012 (06 - 10 March 2012)
- Hanover Trade Fair 2012 (23 - 27 April 2012)
- IAA Commercial Vehicles 2012 (20 - 27 September 2012) and
- EuroBLECH 2012 (23 - 27 October 2012)

The service unit of this Board, the formalities office and the constabulary in the building of the Regional Court Braunschweig, Münzstr. 17, 38100 Braunschweig, will be available at the following times:

Mondays to Thursdays from 7.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Fridays and working days before bank holidays from 7.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon.

The Presiding Judge will be available on working days starting at 7.30 a.m.

Moreover, the stand-by services will be available in urgent cases at the following times:

1. CeBIT
Friday, 9 March 2012 - The service unit will be available until 2.00 p.m.

2. Hanover Trade Fair
Monday, 23 April 2012 - The service unit and the formalities office will be available from 7.00 a.m. The Presiding Judge will be available from 7.30 a.m.

3. IAA-Nutzfahrzeuge (IAA Commercial Vehicles)
Friday, 21 September 2012 - A telephonic stand-by service will be available until 2.00 p.m.
Saturday, 22 September 2012 - A telephonic stand-by service will be available. The Presiding Judge will be available over mobile phone from 10 a.m. to 12.00 noon. The service unit of the Patent Dispute Board and the formalities office will be available from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

The Court has also agreed to hold hearings in urgent cases during these trade fairs on the exhibition grounds in Hannover. This can be arranged in advance by telephone with the Presiding Judge of the Patent Dispute Board.
