Doctoral thesis in the field of bio-organic chemistry on the development of Cu(I)- catalysed and Cu(I)-free methods for the postsynthetic functionalisation of DNA and proteins (2010). Award of the Herbert-Marcinek-Foundation in 2004, Faculty Award of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich in 2006 and Award of the Dr. Klaus-Römer-Foundation in 2007.
