Institute of Physics of the Technical University (RWTH) in Aachen in the field of nano-optics, photonic crystals, as part of a project of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). Started working in intellectual property law in 2006 in an intellectual property law firm in Berne, Switzerland. With Hoffmann · Eitle since 2008. European Patent Attorney since 2010. German Patent Attorney since 2011.
