Career
Studied Biochemistry at the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen, graduated in 2004. Diploma thesis in the field of tumor biology and apoptosis. Doctoral thesis at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried (2005-2009) in the area of small RNA biology, focusing on proteins regulating microRNA functions. Scholarship from the Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds. Worked as a postdoc with a large biotechnology company in California/USA (2009-2010). Author of numerous publications in leading scientific journals. With Hoffmann ∙ Eitle since 2010.
