Career
Studied Chemistry at the Leibniz University Hannover including a semester abroad at La Trobe University, Melbourne, and University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. Ph.D. thesis at the Technische Universität München on structure-activity regulation of chaperones and their substrate the tumor suppressor protein p53 (2009). Post-doctoral studies at Stanford University, USA, in the field of protein misfolding and related diseases (2011).
Scholarships from the Chemical Industry trust (VCI) and the DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft).
