Studied engineering science at the University of Oxford, specializing in electronic circuit theory, telecommunications, control engineering, electrical machines, computer programming as well as thermodynamics, strength of materials and mechanics. 1974 to 1981 training and experience with British patent attorney firms, British and European Patent Attorney since 1980, with Hoffmann · Eitle since 1981.
