Career
Studied biochemistry at the Technical University of Munich. Master’s thesis in the field of small non-coding RNAs (microRNAs) (2003-2008). Doctoral thesis at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry (Martinsried, Germany) and the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (Klosterneuburg, Austria) (2008-2013) in the area of morphodynamics of immune cells, focusing on the role of branched actin networks in dendritic cell physiology. Author and co-author of several publications on these topics in peer-reviewed scientific journals i.a., in Nature Cell Biology. Scholarship from the Max Planck Society. Trained and worked with a renowned Munich patent law firm specializing in life sciences (2014-2019). German and European Patent Attorney since 2018. With HOFFMANN EITLE since 2019.
