Since joining HOFFMANN EITLE, Chloe has gained broad experience in patent work in a wide variety of technical fields within chemistry, including organic chemistry, medicinal, and materials chemistry. Her practice includes drafting patent applications, patent prosecution and opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office.

Career
Chloe studied chemistry at the University of Oxford (2002–2006), and wrote her Master's thesis in organic chemistry. She completed a PhD at the University of Manchester on asymmetric organocatalysis (2006-2010). As part of her PhD she carried out a three-month CASE placement at UCB in Slough. Her research resulted in several scientific publications. Chloe worked as a patent agent for an IP firm in Mexico City (2011-2014) where she gained experience in patent prosecution and patent litigation involving disputes between originator and generic pharmaceutical companies. During her time in Mexico City, Chloe obtained a diploma in IP from the Universidad Panamericana. In 2014 she obtained a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London. In 2015 Chloe joined an IP firm in Milan. Chloe regularly attends AIPLA meetings in the U.S.
Chloe has been with HOFFMANN EITLE since 2016.
