Advising clients on all aspects of patent law, including drafting and prosecution of patent applications worldwide, examination, opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office, as well as freedom to operate and patentability opinions. Patent litigation support in Denmark – extensive experience with litigation of pharmaceutical patents. Particular expertise in organic chemistry, food science, and polymer chemistry.

Studied chemistry and physics at the University of Copenhagen. Doctoral thesis in physical chemistry at the University of Copenhagen with part of the research carried out at West Virginia University. Began his career in patents with a leading Danish IP firm in 2003, being responsible for the Madrid office from 2007 to 2015. Worked as responsible for EPO oppositions in the IP department of Novartis 2016-2017. With HOFFMANN EITLE since September 2017; European Patent Attorney since 2007. Obtained the CEIPI Diploma in Patent Litigation in Europe in 2011.
