Career

Studied biology in Göttingen and Paris, with emphasis on microbiology, molecular biology, and biochemistry. Scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation.
Worked for the European Patent Office for many years in the field of biotechnology, initially as a patent examiner in examination and opposition proceedings, then as a technical member of the Boards of Appeals. With HOFFMANN EITLE since 2019.
