Dr. Lee specializes in US and the European IP practice with extensive work experience in Korean IP practice. She has more than 20 years of experience in intellectual property practice, in particular mechanical patent prosecution, IP licensing, and patent litigations. She consults international clients on international patent prosecution and portfolio management as well as IP licensing and patent litigation strategies.

Career
Dr. Lee studied mechanical engineering at KyungHee University, Seoul, South Korea with full scholarship (1996). She had worked at a multinational electronics company at home appliances patent department and major Korean law firms on inbound and outbound IP matters before she pursued law degrees in the United States.
She attended Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, MO, USA for her Juris Doctor and IP.LL.M. degrees. While she was attending law school, she was active as a vice president of the IP Law Society of the school (2009-2010) and as a Student Attorney for the Entrepreneurship and IP Law clinic (2010-2011). She also worked for a US law firm as a summer associate for two consecutive summers. She represented the graduating class of LL.M. students as the student marshal for the Commencement day.
She worked for international clients on patent prosecution, licensing and litigation matters after the law school at a Korean IP firm. She also consulted various Korean businesses on international IP transactions and licensing matters at a Korean governmental organization (KIPA) as one of a few national IP transactions experts.
She also graduated from Seoul National University Nano IP Enterprise (NIP) program on 2016 with full scholarship. She was admitted to the New York Bar (2014) and with Hoffmann Eitle since 2016.
