Your Tasks

Our IT is getting fit for the future with a new platform to benefit from the expected growth and changes in the market. You will be involved in the extensive IT change program, managing the technology needs of the London office 60% of the time. The rest of the time you will be part of a regional support organization ensuring a consistent, timely and high quality level of technical support. As the responsible IT Coordinator & Support Representative in London, you will report to the IT Operations Manager in Munich.

Your Qualifications

As IT Coordinator & Support Representative
you will be proficient in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the network and server infrastructure and aligning the IT infrastructure with current and future business needs and objectives. Assessing risks, developing network recovery and backup processes, and procuring new hardware are all familiar to you. You will be able to ensure that IT activities are conducted within applicable laws, rules and regulations. Testing, troubleshooting, and adjusting information systems for effective operation is something you have a handle on, as is implementing security for the network, data, and storage and communications systems. In managing local IT budgets, forecasting, handling cash flow and enforcing cost efficiencies, you will appear confident in negotiating with vendors. You will have acquired and already demonstrated your comprehensive qualifications over at least 3 years in a similar position. Previous experience in a law firm and setting up an office is a plus, a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science is essential.

You are characterized by a desire to provide the best possible service and the ability to work independently as part of a larger IT team. In addition to strong communication skills at all levels of the organization, you also have some working knowledge of German in your repertoire. You will emphasize your presence with your willingness to travel for business.
