Tobias Wedenik is currently training to become a German and European patent attorney in the Electrical Engineering and Digital Technologies practice group at HOFFMANN EITLE. His technical focus encompasses telecommunications, GNSS, software, warehouse logistics, autonomous driving, and quantum technologies. His work goes beyond patent drafting and prosecution to include active involvement in opposition and nullity proceedings.
Prior to joining HOFFMANN EITLE, Tobias studied Technical Physics at the Technical University of Vienna, focusing on surface physics. He subsequently completed a degree in Physical Energy and Measurement Engineering, also at the Technical University of Vienna, graduating as a Diplom-Ingenieur. He gained valuable international practical experience working at the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand in Bangkok, where he developed machine learning solutions for power plant components.
Outside of work, Tobias is a passionate and versatile athlete, always looking for new physical challenges.
