What you can expect

  • Independently drafting and managing patent applications
  • Processing and responding to examination notices from national and international patent offices
  • Direct communication with clients, as well as providing personalized advice and representing their interests
  • Representing clients in opposition and appeal proceedings, including oral hearings
  • Assisting in the preparation of legal opinions on the state of the art and the infringement of intellectual property rights
  • Participating in complex patent infringement and patent invalidity proceedings

What sets you apart

As a Patent Attorney
  • Excellent college degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, or a comparable technical or natural science field of study
  • Admission as a German and/or European patent attorney
  • Early-career attorney with a strong commitment to the field and an interest in current technical developments
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge in a targeted and practical manner for our clients
As a person
  • A team-oriented approach to work and a passion for successful collaboration
  • A confident and engaging demeanor
  • Quick comprehension and strong analytical skills
  • The ability to accurately grasp complex technical and legal issues and present them clearly and persuasively
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, ideally acquired through a stay abroad
  • Good German skills are desirable
