What you can expect

  • Independent handling and monitoring of annuity fees for industrial property rights 
  • Monitoring deadlines and terms of national and international intellectual property rights 
  • Initiation and coordination of fee payments to patent offices in Germany and abroad 
  • Review and processing of fee notices and relevant correspondence 
  • Maintenance and updating of intellectual property and deadline data in our systems 
  • Communication and coordination with clients, patent offices, and foreign correspondent law firms 
  • Handling and coordination of inquiries regarding annuity fees and the terms of intellectual property rights 
  • Careful documentation and follow-up of individual matters 

What sets you apart

As a Patent Paralegal 
  • Training as a patent paralegal or comparable commercial or specialist vocational training 
  • Initial professional experience in the field of intellectual property law 
  • Enjoyment of a structured and meticulous way of working 
  • Confident use of Microsoft 365 and digital tools 
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills 
As a person 
  • Strong sense of responsibility and high level of reliability 
  • Attention to detail and a good sense of deadlines and details 
  • Quick comprehension and a structured approach to work
