Xiaoming Zhou is a trainee patent attorney in the Electrical Engineering and Digital Technologies Team at HOFFMANN EITLE. She brings a strong academic and professional background in power electronics, circuit design and motor control to her work in patent prosecution and intellectual property strategy. She supports clients in varies technology sectors, including semiconductors, artificial intelligence, optical systems, satellite telecommunications, and the automotive industry.
Xiaoming studied Electrical Engineering at Hochschule Mittweida before completing a master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Technical University of Munich. Her academic focus included semiconductor technology, power electronics, and system integration, equipping her with both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise highly relevant to high-tech innovation.
Before joining HOFFMANN EITLE, Xiaoming gained two years of hands-on experience at Infineon Technologies, a leading global semiconductor manufacturer. During her time at Infineon, she was involved in the development and optimization of power semiconductor devices and control systems, contributing to projects focused on energy efficiency and smart mobility. Her role gave her practical insight into the patent-relevant challenges faced by companies operating at the forefront of innovation.
In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and exploring new cultures through travel.
