Experienced process engineer with a passion for intellectual property
The technical expertise of Felix Jacob in the field of general mechanical engineering and innovative process technology stems from his years of research and consulting work in the food and beverage industry. His focus areas are filling and packaging technology, apparatus engineering, process automation, brewing and beverage technology, and sustainable product development. Felix' in-depth engineering and bioprocess technology knowledge helps many clients from industry and research to protect their ideas at the interface between manufacturing process and plant technology. He specialises in prosecution and oppositions at the GPTO and the EPO, freedom to operate and patent drafting.
Prior to joining HOFFMANN EITLE, Felix studied brewing and beverage technology at the Technical University of Munich and worked for a leading international research and consulting company in the food industry. He completed his PhD at the Technical University of Berlin in the field of process engineering on the sustainable use of by-products of the brewing process and is author of numerous scientific publications.
