To join us in this challenging and rewarding work, the London office of our international intellectual property law firm is looking for a part-qualified patent attorney with a university degree in chemistry and professional language skills in English.
Your Tasks
On the path to becoming a patent attorney at HOFFMANN EITLE, you can expect structured training in an international team in the innovative field of chemistry. Our experienced patent attorneys will accompany you throughout your training, offering support and guidance as you learn on the job. We are looking for a long-term, committed team member and offer excellent development opportunities for successful candidates. We also offer the opportunity to work at our Munich head office for a limited period of time (3 to 6 months) during your training. In addition to competitive remuneration, you will also receive a generous training budget and will be able to work independently on real cases.
Your Qualifications
As a Patent Attorney
You are on track for qualifying as a UK and European Patent Attorney and have passed the UK foundation exams, QMUL or equivalent. You may have sat or be about to sit the pre-EQE exams or the UK or European final exams.
You have outstanding university qualifications and a successful career so far, you are highly committed to staying abreast of the latest innovations in your field, and you are skilled in effectively applying your expertise in patent law for clients.
As a Person
Your professional competence is combined with a passion for working as part of a team. You have an aptitude for grasping complicated ideas and the ability to analyse and accurately present complex sets of facts with eloquence. For this reason, an excellent command of both written and spoken English is essential.
