Career
Studied chemistry at the Technical University in Karlsruhe with emphasis on organic synthesis, graduated in 1989. Doctoral thesis in biosynthesis reactions in plants (1992); research at the University of Hawaii in the area of the isolation and structural elucidation of anti-cancer drugs from marine plants until 1994. Scholarships from the State Graduate Sponsorship Program and the German Research Association (DFG). With HOFFMANN EITLE since 1994. German Patentanwalt since 1998, European Patent Attorney since 2001.
