Prosecution and post-grant opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office; prosecution before the UK Intellectual Property Office; and opinion work concerning patent validity and infringement, freedom-to-operate studies and due diligence. Experienced in original drafting, coordinating patent prosecution in multiple jurisdictions, and advising on multinational litigation strategy. Expertise over a wide variety of mechanical and related technology, with particular experience in the fields of automotive engineering, medical surgical devices, oil exploration and recovery methods and equipment, electromechanical printing devices, and metal packaging technology.
